'Phenomenal!' Fans praise 'The Last of Us' Episode 8 for perfectly-executed scenes from OG game
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Episode 8 of 'The Last of Us' ended in a cliffhanger. The cinematography was on point and the action flowed smoothly with emotion, pain and trauma. The episode was a great throwback to the plot of the original game and executed it perfectly. The story may have seemed a bit rushed at the end, but it was one of the most heartbreaking episodes of the season. Joel calls Ellie "baby girl," which is the term he used to refer to their daughter Sarah when she dies in the first episode.
Episode 8 gave Pedro Pascal's Joel some important character development and how he initially copes with the loss of his daughter and how he puts all his energy into protecting Ellie from everything and everyone. The episode will certainly make you cry, but it will also highlight the bond between Joel and Ellie.

For those who have seen the game, know how it ends, this week's episode was devastating. Imagine how great the acting has to be to make you feel broken even though you know how it ends? Bella Ramsey everyone!
