This story contains major spoilers for 'The L Word: Generation Q' episode 5 titled 'Labels'

Shane (Katherine Moennig) may have signed the divorce papers but her relationship with Quiara (Lex Scott Davis) is far from over.

For three episodes, we only knew that Shane was having marriage troubles with Quiara. However, when she is sent the divorce papers, we know things have taken a turn for the worst.

Shane even avoids signing the divorce papers till her birthday when she finally signs them. But that wasn't the end of the drama. By the end of the episode, Quiara just shows up unannounced.

Soon, we make the discovery that the couple had fallen apart on the subject of kids — Quiara wants them while Shane, despite sharing simply amazing rapport with children, doesn't want any.

Their hot-again-cold-again dynamic is confusing fans as they find themselves divided about Shane's lady love. "I actually find Quiara's actions to be aggressive and inappropriate. Shane said she didn't want children; they got a divorce over it, so big issue, big deal," pointed out an upset fan.

" Shane is struggling to move on and build herself a new life. But then Quiara barges back in, announcing she's pregnant when it's too late for Shane to have any say over the matter," the fan shared.

"This child will, inevitably, have a huge impact in the future if they're to remain a couple - exactly the situation Shane said she didn't want, but Quiara ignored. It's horseshit for Quiara to act like Shane wouldn't have to play a parenting role. It's a difficult situation but Quaira hasn't handled it right," the fan added.

A lot about Shane and Quiara was kept under wraps. Despite the distance, both of them loved each other dearly and pined for each other all the time. But Quiara sudden reappearance in Shane's life is only bound to complicate things for Shane.

Especially since she shows up and immediately drops the pregnancy bomb. Which has led to many fans clearly taking sides.

"Didn't Shane and Quiara separate because Shane doesn't want kids? Why show up and drop that bombshell on her? To try to save the marriage by still being with Shane yet raise the baby alone? How dumb. The marriage is over, Quiara," said one fan.

"I hate Shane and Quiara. Shane doesn’t want kids and instead of respecting that as a deal-breaker and letting her go, the bitch gets knocked up and then continues to pull on Shane’s heartstrings, obviously hoping Shane’s going to change her mind," said another upset fan.

"How do you be with someone but not their kid? That makes no sense. If we’re supposed to root for them as a couple, they did a shitty job. What, give her a line about how Shane doesn't scare her and we're supposed to be like 'oh, yep, this is a good pairing.'? Get the f**k out of here with that noise," the fan added.

'The L Word: Generation Q' airs on Sundays at 10/ 9c on Showtime.
