The pink-haired anime high school psychic, Saiki K, is back with 'The Disastrous Life of Saiki K: Reawakened', a reboot of the original series. Six episodes from the series were released on Netflix on December 30 and followers of the show are quite pepped up to see the return of the series.

For franchise fans, it seems to be a lovely welcome and for new viewers, it seems to be an oddly amusing experience as the episodes have been broken into smaller five-minute mini storylines. In a Reddit thread, fans have been posting the catchphrase 'yare yare' and discussing some talking points from the series.

"I was pretty satisfied with this. They adapted some of the manga panels that weren't included in the previous seasons and the epilogue, in particular, was the one thing I had missed in the anime until now," one viewer wrote, while another said, "Just finished it. It was really amazing, just like the other seasons! The ending especially was much more satisfying than what we previously had."

It is not clear whether or not more episodes will be out in 'The Disastrous Life of Saiki K: Remastered' but fans are demanding the usual 24 episodes from the showrunners. (Netflix)

"The new season of #TheDisastrousLifeOfSaikiK is fantastic!!!" one fan posted and another wrote, "Okay but #TheDisastrousLifeofSaikiK is fantastic and such a fun show and it deserves so much more recognition. #anime."

The show's release has even turned into a New Year plan for some fans. "The new #disasterouslifeofsaikik is coming out end of the year. I know what I'm doing for New Years!" one tweet read.

One hard-core fan was happy to see a reference of a character from the 'My Hero Academia' manga series. "My reaction when they made a reference of Momo Yaoyorozu in the new version of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K: Reawakened..." the tweet read. It is not clear whether or not more episodes will be out but fans are demanding the usual 24 episodes from the showrunners.
