'The Book of Boba Fett' Episode 6: Who is Cad Bane? Final hints at Boba vs Bane showdown

Considered to be one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy during the Clone Wars, he takes the spotlight in the final minutes of the episode

'The Book of Boba Fett'  Episode 6 introduces, or correction re-introduces one of the deadliest warriors in 'Star Wars' history. Cad Bane, the Duros male bounty hunter makes an appearance in the spin-off. Considered to be one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy during the Clone Wars, he takes the spotlight in the final minutes of the episode shooting Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant) after he refuses to rest while the Pyke syndicate runs their spice business in Tatooine.

Bane's connection spreads as far back as being hired by Jabba the Hutt to free Jabba's uncle, the gangster Ziro Desilijic Tiure. He even had a brief alliance with the Sith Lord Darth Maul and specialized in fighting the Jedi. Bane made a cameo appearance in 'The Bad Batch', and there were teases of a standoff between him and Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison). It does appear that they have not worked things out and the two will tussle in what promises to be a humdinger of a finale. Last we saw Bane was still shown to be active during the early days of the Galactic Empire and was hired to retrieve a female clone, Omega before being foiled by Fennec Shand and Clone Force 99.

Twitter was anticipating the arrival of Bane and was blown away by his appearance. "“Oh no, we’re on Tatooine *again*. "// #TheBookOfBobaFett   spoilers TBOBF // - - - - - - - - - OKAY BUT WHERE WAS CAD BANE’S TOOTH PICK?!? THIS IS THE CAMEO WE MISSED," another echoed. "My King!!!! waited 10 years !!!! The Cad Bane, ladies & gentlemen.." one of the fans seconded.

CAD BANE WE GOT CAD BANE I ACTUALLY HAD TO SHOVE MY BLANKET IN MY MOUTH TO SCREAM SO I WOULDN'T WAKE MY DAD BUT YOU GUYS I AM LOSING MY EVER-LOVING SHIT WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS AMAZING," another commented.
