'The Bold And The Beautiful' Spoilers: Thomas' condition looks grim as Liam learns truth about Hope's 'affair'
Spoiler alert for 'The Bold And The Beautiful'
As we begin a new week of 'The Bold And The Beautiful' episodes, some truths come to the surface while a major character faces a life-threatening situation. But first, a recap.
Thomas Forrester (Michael Atkinson) hit his head and is now having hallucinations that a Hope-lookalike mannequin is coming to life and seducing him. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) walked in on Thomas kissing the mannequin but thought it was actually his wife, Hope Logan (Annika Nicole). Liam then goes to vent to Thomas' sister and Liam's ex, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and proceeded to sleep with her.
Meanwhile, Steffy sent her boyfriend, Dr John "Finn" Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to check on Thomas. With Thomas refusing his help, Finn then asked Hope to reach out, who saw Thomas yelling at the mannequin when she went over.
In the previous episode, Liam confronted Hope over what went down with Thomas. Hope is understandably and justifiably confused because she just had dinner with Thomas. When Liam accuses her of kissing Thomas, Hope tells him he is being ridiculous. Liam then goes on to say that she has always found Thomas irresistible and that she has changed — she used to see Thomas for who he was and now suddenly he’s back in the center of her life in a way he never thought possible.
Hope then understands what it was that Liam saw and she proceeds to drag the mannequin off the floor and shows Liam that it wasn't her. Liam, at first, is in disbelief, and then struggles to get his mind around what he saw, realizing in horror the truth of what happened. Hope declares she would never betray their marriage any more than he would as Liam realizes the gravity of what he had done.
Meanwhile, Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are at the hospital as Finn tells them that Thomas has brain trauma. They get up to speed on Hope being there because Finn paid her a visit as Steffy muses that Hope must have been scared. Steffy and Ridge see an unconscious Thomas and urge him to fight for his life.
So, what comes next? As Thomas’ family, friends and enemies gather, things look bleak for him. This week, Finn delivers news to Ridge, Steffy, Liam, and Hope that Thomas’s condition is worsening and he needs surgery. They ask the doctor to be straight with them about his chances.
Meanwhile, Liam — who already knew he had made a mistake sleeping with Steffy, but did not regret it saying that Hope had cheated on him first — will try to understand the situation he has put himself in.
Now that he knows that Hope did not cheat on him, we wonder how he will break the news of him sleeping with Steffy to Hope. Will Hope be angry? Will she blame Liam (who is responsible for all this) or Steffy? Will Steffy break the news of her sleeping with Liam to Finn, who is now treating her brother?
