'The Blacklist' Season 7 Episode 10: Will Red and the Task Force reach Liz before her mother Katarina Rostovaq kills her?

In the trailer for the upcoming Season 7 Episode 10 we see that as Liz contemplates whether she should shoot her mother or not, Katarina pushes her to the ground and hurts her own blood

After nine episodes of failing to live up to her reputation as a gifted FBI profiler, Liz (Megan Boone) has finally recognized that the sweet old lady who randomly moved in next door to her is actually her murderous mother Katarina Rastovaq (Laila Robins), who has been hurting and killing everyone in her wake to get what she wants.

In the previously aired Season 7 Episode 9 of 'The Blacklist', we saw how Liz finally put two and two together and even acknowledged to Katarina that she had a hunch about her real identity from the very beginning but refused to believe it because she knew how things would end.

The episode, titled 'Orion Relocation Services', had ended with Katarina taunting her daughter with the fact that she cannot shoot her mother. And, it seemingly works because we see the revolver shaking in her hand as the scene closes.

Moreover, in the trailer for the upcoming Season 7 Episode 10 we see that as Liz contemplates whether she should shoot her mother or not, Katarina pushes her to the ground and hurts her own blood.

Her actions make it seem like Katarina does have a soft side for Liz and little Agnes, but we know how brutal she can be when it comes to getting rid of the hindrances in her way.

Even as we see Liz's life in danger, we see that Ilya Koslov's life (Brett Cullen) too is barely hanging by the thread. We find that Ilya has revealed a lot of secrets already, and yet, thanks to his extensive training, he is holding on to the deepest, darkest secret, which seems to be the one Katarina is interested in, anyway.

Meanwhile, Red (James Spader) and the Task Force track down a former blacklister to get to Katarina, but it remains to be seen if they will get to her before any real harm is caused to Liz, especially since Liz has not told anyone that her nanny is in fact, Katarina.

We are excited to find out how Red and Task Force are going to track Katarina, when 'The Blacklist' returns with Season 7 Episode 10 titled 'Katarina Rostovaq' on Friday, December 13.
