In Episode 5 of Season 3, a trending piece of news shakes everybody in the culinary business. Andrea Terry decides to close her fine dine restaurant 'Ever' in the aftermath of pandemic.

Carmy is clearly shaken up with the news but refrains from opening up about his feelings when Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) initiates a conversation.

He always believed that a place like Terry's would stay in business forever and in such unpredictable times, Carmy took a bold bet by opening up his own place.
