Who is Aaron Clancy? Katie Thurston's suitor reminds 'Bachelorette' fans of Dale Moss
As 29 suitors vie for Katie Thurston's attention in ABC's 'The Bachelorette', we wonder what's in store for the viewers. "You can't be okay with me possibly getting engaged in two months but not kissing on the first date. I've got to use my time wisely!" So now we know what to expect.
But before we dissect the show into tiny bits or reveal spoilers, let's take a look at 'The Bachelorette' contestants and figure what chances they have against Thurston's stringent screening process. Let's hope Aaron Clancy wins the race given his solid background in swimming and great ambitions in life.

Who is Aaron Clancy?
Clancy is one of the many who is hoping to find love in Thurston. Whether or not he succeeds in his endeavors is a story for later but we think his chances are pretty good. Born on September 17, 1994, in West Covina, the California stud has long been an athlete. He was an NCAA swimmer in college, even won the state title in the 400 medley relay.
His UC San Diego bio reads: "Enjoys weightlifting and playing video games, roots for the Los Angeles Lakers, top movie is 'Pacific Rim', listens to Zedd."
Clancy is thoughtful, sensitive, and very ambitious and in five years, he wishes to establish a business of his own. Maybe that will attract Thurston. He is looking for a "down-to-earth, smart, funny and someone who doesn’t take herself too seriously."
"Aaron plans to leave a legacy behind, so he needs a partner who is going to support him and encourage his dreams. His one flaw? Aaron says he can be a procrastinator, but now he is done wasting time and ready to find his wife," ABC shared on their website.
Meanwhile, Clancy is being compared with 'Bachelor' alum Dale Moss. In March 2021, when blogger Reality Steve announced the list of contestants, social media users posted a string of comments about the same. "Little whiter Dale," one posted, another shared: "Are we sure that’s not Dale’s cousin?" "I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought he kinda looked like Dale," a third commented.

What else can you expect from the show?
As Chris Harrison takes a breather from the show, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams will take over hosting duties. Thurston told Marie Claire about Harrison's exit: "I think they're on the wrong side of history. It's 2021, I support Chris and everything that he's doing, and I think that this is the best decision...I feel like this is the big reset."
