'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart': Release date, plot, cast, host, trailer and all you need to know about the spin-off series

Well, 'The Bachelor' Season 24 is nearing its end and while there is time before we gear up for 'The Bachelorette', the bachelor franchise is now coming out with a new spin-off series titled 'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart', which is more like 'American Idol' meet 'The Bachelor'. 

Putting a new spin to 'Bachelor in Paradise', 'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart' will feature 20 single men and women who embark on a new journey to find the love of their lives through music. While there is little over a month left for the series to premiere, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming spin-off.

'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart' will premiere on April 13 only on ABC. 

Plot

According to ABC, the series, "unites two of the most emotionally powerful forces in human life: music and love, as 20 single men and women embark on an incredible journey to find love through music. Singing well-known songs, both individually and as couples, they will look to form attractions through the melodies, find and reveal their feelings and ultimately, fall in love." 

"The eligible bachelors and bachelorettes (who) will meet and explore their relationships while living together and going on Bachelor-style dates that focus on music. Once the couples commit to each other, it will be time to take their relationship to the next level. The harmony of the couples will be tested through musical challenges, including live performances judged by some of the biggest names in the music business. Ultimately, the couples whose performances reveal their love and devotion to one another will continue to be given a chance to further their relationships until only one couple is left standing."

Chris Harrison will be the host of 'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart'. To date, over the past two decades, ever since the Bachelor series premiered, Chris has been the host. Chris also hosted the syndicated version of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'. Apart from hosting reality TV series, Chris has also appeared in 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' as the host of a music show.

The men and women who will be appearing on the new spin-off series are, Bekah Purifoy, Brandon Mills, Bri Stauss, Cheyenne Arnell, Chris Watson, Danny Padilla, Gabe Baker, Jack Mason, Jamie Gabrielle, Josh Hester, Julia Rae, Mariana Jasel, Matt Ranaudo, Mel Taevin, Michael Todd, Natascha Bessez, Ruby Jane, Rudi, Russell Johnson, Ryan Neal, Savannah McKinley, Sheridan Reed, and Trevor Holmes.
