'The Alienist: Angel Of Darkness' enjoys taking the viewers through a nervewracking rollercoaster of emotions. Each episode ends with a cliffhanger, but there's a small respite. There are usually two episodes on Sundays, so we don't have to wait too long for certain answers. Things are getting intense on the TNT show, as in Episode 4, we found out that Libby wasn't as innocent as she seemed. In fact, she's downright devious and could have almost gotten away with murdering Bitsy, had Lazlo and Sara (Dakota Fanning) not arrived in time. Yet, Libby still managed to get away.

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered. While Episode 5 promised some thrilling suspense, Episode 6 seems to have amped up the intrigue and tension. The synopsis for Episode 6 reads, "Sara and Moore search for new information about their suspect; Kreizler faces ruin after a tragic incident at the Institute; Sara and the team must work with their adversary, former Commissioner Thomas Byrnes, to rescue another missing child."

In Episode 5, there was a brutal murder at the sinister Lying-In Hospital, and the team was trying their best to track down the killer, who managed to find their way to Sara's office.

Meanwhile, a lot has been happening in the personal lives of the trio as well. There has been a lot of tension between John and Sara, due to John's engagement with Violet. Fans are sure that John is in love with Sara and his uncalled-for behavior in Episode 4 seemed to just prove that fact. John was humiliated by Violet and her father at their engagement and this lead to a particularly uncomfortable conversation between John and Sara. She tried warning him about the dangers of this union, but John snapped at her reminding her of their relationship. He had asked her to marry him and she said no. The conversation ended on a rather bitter note. Nevertheless, in Episode 6, the two might have to put aside their personal conflicts if they are to work together.

'The Alienist: Angel of Darkness' airs on TNT on Sundays. Episode 6 will follow Episode 5 and will air at 10 pm.
