'Don’t be selfish': Internet slams Tems for wearing view-blocking 'mosquito net' outfit at Oscars 2023
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nigerian singer and Oscars nominee Tems received criticism for the white Lever Couture dress she wore, which allegedly obstructed the view of the audience members sitting behind her during the event. The 27-year-old singer, who was nominated for the ‘Best Original Song’, took to her social media to post a montage of her looks wearing the same dress.
She captioned her post with a sassy “Uh Ohh!” The ‘Lift Me Up’ songwriter who was nominated alongside Rihanna, shared a number of images in the same dress.

‘Most selfish person at an award show’
Tems’s dress from the designer Lessja Verlingieri’s LELEKA collection received immense flak following her appearance at the star-studded event. “Beautiful but really messed up for whoever is sitting behind her.
