Freezing Cold has announced an upcoming tour and a new music video for 'Teenage Insights' which dropped on February 24.

The new official video, directed by Brendan McKnight, comes off their debut album 'Glimmer' which was released in September and the world got an early taste of the album with the release of the track 'Teenage Insights' in August.

Bringing together former members of New York DIY bands Bridge And Tunnel, Weed Hounds and Aye Nako, Freezing Cold presents a warm, heart-on-sleeve style of indie rock.

The refreshing new band came together as friends in 2017 and has since had a new addition to the group, Leanna Butkovic, who has replaced former bassist Nick Rice.

Jeff Cunningham, the lead vocalist/guitarist, Angie Boylan, who is on drums/vocals, and Nick Rice have all known one another for years and spent time growing up together in the New York DIY music community.

Boylan is also the touring drummer for the all-women American rock band Sleater Kinney.

Recorded and mixed in March 2019 by engineer, producer and recording artist J Robbins at Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore, 'Glimmer' supports Salinas Records. J Robbins is best known for his frontman role with '90s post-punk band Jawbox and his works with Against Me!, Promise Ring and Lemuria.

Freezing Cold released a three-song demo in 2017, and has a music video for their song 'Shape of Escape'. They are playing shows throughout the North East of the US.

Freezing Cold is evolving itself as a charming rendition of rock 'n' roll and the band' early performances revealed the sense of their introspective heart-on-the-sleeve style of indie rock mixed with the unspoken musical magnetism that brought them together.
