'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant': Brianna wants to talk to her ex-boyfriend Danae once more, but this time she wants closure
Brianna Jaramillo and her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Danae always had its ups and downs but it wasn't up until recently that the two decided it was in their best interests to head their separate ways as the relationship was becoming toxic.
Despite this, Brianna had always been supportive of Danae, who came out as a transgender and believed that she would be standing next to him when he had his surgery. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. In the second episode of 'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant', Brianna found out that Danae was finally getting his surgery for the top part of his body but instead of her, it was Danae's new girlfriend that was next to him.
"I just found out that Danae just got his top surgery done," Brianna was seen telling her friend Lisa as the two sat down at a nail salon to get their nails done. "I thought how amazing that was because I knew how badly he wanted that and I know how uncomfortable his breast made him feel."
When Lisa asked Brinna how she found out about this news, the reality star remarked that she still follows Danae on social media and saw one of his posts. Brianna then stated that she always thought she would be the one standing next to Danae when he got his surgery done. "I feel seeing the pictures of his top surgery is weird because I always imagined myself being there with him and it was kind of sad for me to see that it was her that he shared that moment with," she said.
Brianna further added that there were moments when she felt like she should rekindle a relationship with Danae and maybe, become good friends like they were. The two ended their relationship on bad terms and since then haven't been in much contact.
"I have been really debating and like fighting myself for thinking if I should reach out to him or not," she said. However, Lisa did not seem impressed with the idea as she added, "Someone who has put you through abuse and trauma doesn't deserve your time."
Brianna then stated that she wanted to have a conversation with Danae for closure and not to get back together. She further added that she wasn't sure if she would get the closure that she hopes to attain. "I feel like if we can get on a phone and talk like adults and where he can let me just say what I want to say and not interrupt me or be immature or call me names then I think it can help him understand where I am coming from and why am I so upset."
She added, "I don't want to hate him anymore. I just want to be like when I think of that relationship I should be like, it is okay, I forgave him and it is over and I have moved on. "
Even though Brianna said that she doesn't plan on having this conversation any time soon, she was certain that it would be a conversation in the near future. But will the two be able to meet on common ground or will things become worse for them?
