Taylor Swift, who is about to begin her new role as a film director, is now fearing for her safety after eco-fanatics repeatedly disclosed her travel schedule. Swift, 32, who has a large number of stalkers due to her global fame, has spent tens of thousands of pounds on high-tech equipment used by celebrities like Tom Cruise to hide the whereabouts of her private jet.

The 'Anti-Hero' singer, who acknowledged in 2019 that she carried bandages for stab wounds out of fear of attack, is now far more vulnerable to security breaches as a result of a data release from last week. A friend close to Swift told The Sun, "She is terrified that they are putting a target on her everywhere she goes. Taylor invested loads in the technology and feels she is back to square one." A protection specialist told the portal, "She is one of the most stalked celebrities in the world and her safety is being put at risk under the guise that it is eco-conscious, when in fact it is nothing more than another way to stalk her. If something happens they could be held accountable."

Following the release of this information, several Swifties voiced their worries on social media, with one fan tweeting, "Tbh I truly don't understand that acc other than putting her life in danger what's knowing that information going to do." Another fan who thinks the act is illegal remarked, "How is this even legal? It really shouldn't be." A third fan joked, "Time to fly via spaceship."

Another Swifty, who was concerned, tweeted, "I cannot understand how people view a celebrity as like a form of entertainment as if they don't have a life outside of whatever they're famous for and whatever. She's a human being. Leave her alone omfg." One fan who was unhappy with the eco-mob wrote, "This makes me so so so mad bc it's so unfair."

Meanwhile, Swift's career has reached new heights. The 'All Too Well' singer, who broke the record for 'Most Streamed Artist' with her tenth studio album, Midnights, in October, is now scheduled to appear on her upcoming US tour, which is set for March 2023.

'The Man' singer has also made it known that she will be working as a director with Searchlight Pictures on her first full-length film. "Taylor is a once-in-a-generation artist and storyteller," stated David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield, presidents of Searchlight. "It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey."

The 'Look What You Made Me Do' singer made history by being the first solo artist to win two Best Direction awards for her work on the music videos for 'The Man' and 'All Too Well: The Short Film' at the VMAs in August.
