'We just got some really s***ty news': Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young reveal new house flip project
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Real estate investor and television personality Tarek El Moussa revealed in an Instagram story on Monday, December 19, that a house flipping project with wife Heather Rae Young is coming soon. "So, we are in our flip. It's our Craftsman style," pregnant Heather said as Tarek kissed her on the cheek. "We just got some really s***ty news," she added. Heather jokingly scolded him by saying, "Don't tell them, babe". "Don't tell anybody," Tarek said.
Heather then apparently hinted at their new HGTV show 'The Flipping El Moussas' when she said, "Don't tell the audience, they're gonna see it on..." The 41-year-old previously starred with his ex-wife Christina Anstead, 39 in the HGTV show 'Flip Or Flop'. In 2019, Heather and Tarek started dating and tied the knot in October 2021. The duo announced Heather's pregnancy in July and they are expecting a baby boy in early 2023.

They recently spent some time with his two children: daughter Taylor, 12, and son Brayden, 7, which even included shooting Christmas photos for their 'jammie picture day.' Heather Rae Young previously admitted that she felt second best when it came to co-parenting her husband Tarek El Moussa’s children with his divorced wife. “I was always second,” Heather said during a recent appearance on the 'Today” show’s The New Rules series. She also added that “no one ever made [her] feel that way” intentionally, but it happened on purpose.
“I think when your significant other had such a long relationship with the previous spouse, and a lot of love, and it was very public divorce, you’re coming into it, and you fall in love with each other, but you always kind of think of the ex,” she explained. Heather admitted that it took some time for Tarek's previous wife to accept her into the lives of their children. “I kinda had to navigate my own feelings along with falling in love with a man, raising children, getting a whole new family and also filming my own TV shows. It wasn’t always perfect,” she said. “I think she realized how much I love the kids, and they are No. 1 to me over anything. So any drama aside, the kids are the most important thing to all of us.”
Tarek and Christina got seperated in 2016, and in 2018, they finalized their divorce.
