‘Surprise! One last episode’: Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa announce special finale of HGTV’s ‘Flip or Flop’ Season 10
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: If you were dejected when 'Flip or Flop' Season 10 ended its decade-long run in March 2022, well, there's some good news! Hosts and longtime exes Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa announced that the show will return for "one last episode." The pair revealed the news on Instagram, which indeed made many fans of the beloved series "flip out."
In an endearing post on Instagram, the stars shared separate messages announcing the big reveal. Christina wrote on her account, "Surprise….! One last episode of Flip or Flop: The Final Flip, coming your way Thursday, Dec. 1, at 8 pm ET/PT on @hgtv. The one-hour special also will be available to stream the same day on @discoveryplus." Tarek shared his own heartfelt message, penning, "We're taking on one last project in an hour-long Flip or Flop special, and it's one you can't miss. If you've been a Flip or Flop watcher from day one, you've really seen it all when it comes to our flips: the good, bad, ugly, funny, gross, etc and you've also seen it all when it comes to our lives: our children growing up, our life experiences, our businesses growing, etc. I can't tell you how much it has meant to get your guys' love and support for 10 years and without you I truly wouldn't be where I am today."

The show announced its conclusion in March, which took fans by surprise. Back then, the stars had revealed just one week before the final episode aired that they would be wrapping up the beloved show. Now, the HGTV show will have its "real" finale, including the two exes possibly taking a trip down memory lane and reminiscing about their craziest projects from the show's ten seasons.
Tarek and Christina's ex-romance was a big part of the show's earlier seasons. But in 2016, the pair announced their split, citing "challenges in our marriage." The couple explained that the "unfortunate misunderstanding" about six months involving Tarek's incident with a firearm caused the two to separate for good. But the couple continued filming 'Flip or Flop', and Season 7 of the show showcased the divorced couple's struggles to maintain a healthy relationship with their children. And surely there were many ugly moments between the two as the duo fought or had issues over each other's new partners. But the two seem to have learned how to maintain a better "work" relationship now. According to People, "The show was just too intimate of a setting at this point, and it was time to close that chapter." But Tarek and Christina were generally cordial throughout the show's remaining seasons. A source told People, "They're exes who share a history and children and a workplace, but outside of coparenting, they're not friends." Tarek and Christina are now married to different people, and Tarek is expecting his first child with 'Selling Sunset' star Heather Rae El Moussa.
Fans can catch the special one-hour finale of 'Flip or Flop' Season 10 on HGTV on December 1 at 8 pm ET/PT.
