To celebrate her 24th birthday, Blackpink's Rosé took to VLive to greet fans and thank them for gifts. While Rosé mostly spoke in Korean, a curious playlist of songs played in the background including SZA's music. It didn't take long for SZA to hop onto her social media to wish Rosé a happy birthday and share her excitement over the notion of a collab. "OMG i just talked about a blackpink collab today," she said on an Instagram Story with a screenshot of the V Live video and added, "happy Birthday Poo." Check out her post here.

While we can't be sure if SZA and Blackpink are actually working on a collaboration or if this is all a teaser of sorts, fans have been quick to share their excitement over the idea. "WE NEED THIS," wrote a fan in all caps on Twitter, while another said, "WE WANT IT DESPERATELY."

Fans are also fascinated by what it would sound like to blend Blackpink and SZA music. One fan wrote, "Omg? idk how it'll sound but we will be streaming." As noted above, SZA is open on social media about who she would like to work with on new music. Recently, the singer responded positively to a fan who suggested a collaboration with Jhene Aiko. She also noted she'd like to work with Summer Walker, Kehlani, and Ari Lennox. SZA's existing collabs have often been catchy or popular and if she wants to continue doing so, we are down for it.
