With barely a few weeks left, only eight castaways remain in the battle for the $1 million prize and to be crowned the title winner of 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39.

Wednesday's episode of Survivor was anything but expected, starting right from the beginning of the episode where Jeff Probst brought in the castaway's family to visit them. It was an emotional moment for the castaways to see their loved one after spending 31 days in an island without anyone they can trust and confide in.

This week we saw new alliances form, and trust put to test after the family visit. Tommy and Janet won the round and got to choose two people to accompany them and spend some extra time with their loved ones. They chose Dan and Lauren. Janet had her husband, Tommy his girlfriend, Dan his 13-year-old son and Lauren her husband.

While they munched on some good food, they started plotting on who to eliminate. They came to a decision to split their vote against Karishma and Elaine. Back at tribal, Noura was furious that they didn't choose her after she gave up a lot for her tribe to win. So she decided to side with Karishma, Elaine and Dean to eliminate Tommy.

Lauren won the immunity idol and then started the drama with Noura getting all riled up about the elimination. Heading over to the tribal council, Dean blurted out to Tommy that they were planning on eliminating him, which got Noura spilling the beans on every single tribe member. She spilled the beans that Elaine had an idol, and they wanted Tommy out.

Noura literally dug her own grave and got muddled up in her own lies, which she didn't expect. But while everyone expected the tribe to vote Noura out, it was surprising to see Karishma be the one sent home. Dan, Janet and Karishma voted for Noura, while the rest voted Karishma out.

After the tribal council, Boston Rob was shocked only to reveal that the tribal council went through all that just to send Karishma home. Taking to Twitter fans also claim that this week's tribal council was a mess thanks to Noura and Dean. They were also shocked that Noura is still in the game and not sent home after her not-so-little ramble.

"They flopped this tribal. What was the reason when y’all clearly saw Noura was a rat snake? #Survivor," wrote a fan on Twitter. Adding to that another said, "Dean blew a huge opportunity to send Tommy home. I think Noura was on board. Crazy tribal. Boston Rob was right about all that just for Karishma. #Survivor #RHAP #Survivor39."

"I have never been more mad at a tribal than this mess. Dean gives away the plan, Noura reveals the idol after getting exposed, Elaine playing it for herself, the three of them voting for Noura, and EVERYONE else targeting Karishma for no reason AGAIN #Survivor," wrote a fan. While another said, "What the f**k was that episode even?! How dumb are Dean and Noura? Janet or Elaine better win. #Survivor."

"This the most dumbest Survivor ever. So Noura did all that snitching only to vote out the annoying Karishma. What the fuck. #Survivor," wrote a fan. Adding to that another fan said, "Cannot believe Noura stayed after all that!! #survivor."
