'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39: Dean will not get to play his 'fake' legacy advantage and fans are disappointed

This surprise removal left the tribe with only five contestants remaining, which meant Dean lost his opportunity to play his fake advantage and get turned down for it.

Tonight's episode of 'The Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39 featured only the remaining seven contestants. Though a lot of unexpected situations arose, and for the first time ever someone got sent home, fans are now disappointed that with one person removed and another eliminated there are only five contestants remaining and Dean will not get to play his fake legacy.

A lot went down during tonight's episode of 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39. Janet found an idol and told Tommy about it. Dean was called to the Island of the Idols and won the task with Sandra Diaz and Boston Rob. He got the advantage to nullify a vote, and it's speculated that he used it to nullify Janet's immunity idol. Noura and Elaine were then the two contestants who faced a tough night at tribal council, however, Dean won immunity again.

Back at tribal council, names were called and Elaine revealed that if it is not her getting voted out it will be Noura. Elaine was definitely prepared for the worst as she claimed the glass is always full for her, even though she is one among the strongest contestants this season.

Sadly it was Elaine who got eliminated. With her eliminated only six contestants were left which meant Dean had another tribal council where he could have used his fake legacy advantage but the twist was that he didn't know it was fake. But the next day morning, Jeff Probst revealed that Dan has been taken out of the show, he will not be back for tribal council, he will not return to the island, he will not be in the jury, and that he has gone home.

This surprise removal left the tribe with only five contestants remaining which meant Dean lost his opportunity to play his fake advantage and get turned down for it. Taking to Twitter some fans claim that they are disappointed they didn't get to see Dean get turned down by Jeff Probst.

"Glad Dan is gone but bummed that we will never get to see Dean play his fake legacy advantage now that there is no final 6 tribal. #Survivor39 #Survivor," a fan shared. Adding to that another said, "Now that there are only 5 players left, we won’t see Dean play his “legacy advantage”, which would have been hilarious to see Jeff Probst confirm it’s fake. #Survivor."

"So, with Dan (finally) gone, does that also mean we missed the opportunity to see Dean play his real, fake Legacy Advantage? #survivor #rhap,"a fan wrote. While another shared, "So much for Dean's master plan of using the real fake legacy advantage #RHAP #Survivor."

"No final 6 for Dean to play his legacy advantage #Survivor," wrote a fan.

'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39 airs every Wednesday night only on CBS. Check your local listings for more information.
