McLovin it: 'Superbad' star Christopher Mintz-Plasse gets engaged to Britt Bowman after 5 years of dating
SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NEBRASKA: Christopher Mintz-Plasse finally popped the question to his girlfriend Britt Bowman after five years of dating. The 33-year-old actor, who played McLovin in the hit 2007 comedy 'Superbad', announced the happy news on Instagram. The couple has been dating since June 2017 and Mintz-Plasse proposed to Bowman this past weekend on Christmas Eve.
"Life's over!!!" he joked in the caption, sharing multiple pictures with Bowman, who showed off her new ring. The post started with a photo of the two of them kissing while Bowman showed off the huge diamond. Bowman rocked a black and white sweater, black leggings, and a nose ring while beaming with excitement after agreeing to marry her longtime partner.

One of the pics in the post hilariously showed Mintz-Plasse getting down on one knee in front of his friend Matthew Koma for a practice proposal. Koma, who is married to Hilary Duff, wrote in the comments section, "I can't wait to spend the rest of your life together." More of Mintz-Plasse's famous friends reacted to the news, including Mandy Moore, who commented, "Congrats!!!!!" and Alison Brie, who wrote, "Awwww congrats!!!" followed by a series of red hearts. Bowman, who is a live photographer, also shared the news on her own feed, writing, "@mintzplasse did a thing 12.24.22."
The duo has been dating since 2017. For her birthday back in August, Mintz-Plasse paid a special birthday tribute to Bowman on his Instagram, writing, "HBD2MGFIAHQ (Happy birthday to my girlfriend I am her queen)." She replied in the comments, "You are my queen!!!!"
