'Stumptown' Episode 7 replaced by '53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards', but here is when you can watch 'November Surprise'
Things have not been okay in 'Stumptown' every since Dex (Cobie Smulders) found out that her BFF Grey (Jake Johnson), who she thought never hid anything from her, was actually hiding a huge secret from his past. Moreover, his secret almost got Ansel (Cole Sibus), and that is unforgivable in her books. Even though they have gone a little past the not talking phase, there is still some animosity between them, the end of which we hope will see them becoming a couple. And, yet just when we were hoping to see this development happen in their story, ABC is cutting us off.
Instead of the regular programming, which would have ideally given us Season 1 Episode 7 of 'Stumptown', ABC is airing the 53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards, which starts at 8 pm on Tuesday night and goes on till 11 pm. Hosted by Country music legends Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, and Carrie Underwood, the 2019 CMAs promise to be a very entertaining and fun affair, especially with performances from Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, and Brothers Osborne.
Regardless, we still want to know when Dex and Grey's story will move forward, and the answer is Wednesday, November 20. After a week-long break, the ABC show will be back on the air with the latest episode next week as per the schedule. The Thanksgiving-focused 'November Surprise' will see Grey and Dex trying to take their relationships with Liz (Monica Barbaro) and Hoffman (Michael Ealy) respectively forward by spending "Friendsgiving" together.
It is clear that their romantic attraction towards each other will make this Friendsgiving an awkward affair, and hopefully, more truth will come out of this event. Dex and Grey are both scared to admit their feelings for each other and hopefully, jealousy will be the right kind of catalyst to make this happen. Moreover, Ansel is there as a backup plan to remind them how great a family they are, as just the three of them.
We are looking forward to watching Season 1 Episode 7 of 'Stumptown' titled 'November Surprise' on Tuesday, November 20.
