The familiar notes of our favorite synth-wave track is a clear indication: ‘Stranger Things’ Season Four is back! The trailer for the fourth season that dropped on Valentine’s Day is enough to fuel anticipation till the actual season drops.

The biggest reveal of the trailer of the ‘80s Netflix series, of course, is the return of Hopper. At the end of season three, we saw Hopper disappear into the portal -- but we got a hint of him being alive as in the post-credits scene some Russian soldiers mentioned an American. The disappearance of Hopper was one of the most tragic things that has occurred in all the seasons of 'Stranger Things' so far.

The teaser begins at a snow-covered labor-camp, with prisoners working on a railroad, guarded by seemingly Russian guards with Kalashnikovs. Before we know it, we see a bald Hopper, wiping his sweat.

Another big thing about the series is that while the teaser trailer doesn’t reveal too many details about the fourth season, it implies that the series would move out of the confines of Hawkins, Indiana. The trailer transports us to what looks like Russia.

The series creators, the Duffer brothers, said: “We're excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway -- and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper! Although it's not all good news for our ‘American’; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human...and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything…”

With what little we know, we can be sure it's going to be big, because the Demogorgons, for sure are going to be back, as we witnessed at the end of season three.

Though Netflix has not shared a release date, it is expected that the new season will arrive in late 2020 or 2021.
