‘Station 19’ Season 4 Episode 2: Will Dean confess his feelings for Vic? Fans say no to ‘forced’ relationship
‘Station 19’ is all set to give tons of surprises and shocks. As Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) deals with the truth behind her mom, many other relationships are yet to be seen. Last season, Dean Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan) and Victoria "Vic" Hughes (Barrett Doss) had quite an awkward end with Dean keeping his feelings to himself. The two were staying together but then he pushed her away as he had feelings for her. Will he confess what he really feels this season?
Talking to TV Line, Krista Vernoff said it will take time for Dean to admit that he made the biggest blunder of all time in pushing away fellow firefighter Vic, who’d been helping him care for newborn Pru. “It’s going to take a lot,” Vernoff says. “From Dean’s perspective, he has not made a blunder [by showing her the door]. He has made a difficult sacrifice in order to protect his friendship with Vic and by extension the entire Station 19 family.”
Fans, however, seem to be divided on that front. "Ugh, that whole Vic and Dean business on #Station19 is spoiling the entire show for me. Can we not go there? Can they just stay friends?" one said. Another posted, "Is it crazy that I'm speeding watching #Station19 Season 3 just so to catch up on what I miss and to look forward to Vic and Dean's relationship?"
A third chimed in, "I give up. I know you'll force that Dean/Vic romance thing but please let Vic exist outside of that ship & have her own story. I can't watch her mad at Dean & waiting for him to come around all season long. Barrett is way too talented for that. #Station19." And a fourth said, "NOPE to Dean & Vic. They have friendship chemistry not romantic. Vick needs a story that's not romance."

@KristaVernoff I give up. I know you'll force that Dean/Vic romance thing but please let Vic exist outside of that ship & have her own story. I can't watch her mad at Dean & waiting for him to come around all season long. Barrett is way too talented for that. #Station19 https://t.co/YKXFQp6CP6

Looking forward to seeing more Maya/Carina. But this article makes it sound like Carina's only purpose is to be "the girlfriend" & that better not be the case.

NOPE to Dean & Vic. They have friendship chemistry not romantic. Vick needs a story that's not romance. #Station19 https://t.co/vInXLFNnum
Titled ‘Nothing Seems the Same’, the summary reads: "When the COVID-19 pandemic hits Seattle, the Station 19 crew leans on each other for support. And the second episode titled ‘Wild World’ reads: "Andy takes the day off to continue to sort out her family life; Maya and Carina do their best to maintain their relationship while unable to physically see each other due to Covid-19 restrictions and Sullivan strives to work on his sobriety.
