'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 Episode 5 Preview: Ahsoka Tano returns, moves beyond past with Jedi Order
With the Bad Batch story arc now completed, it's time for 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' to finally focus on the one character that fans have REALLY been waiting to see - Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein). After leaving the Jedi Order behind, despite their pardon, Ahsoka is making her own way in life. Just because she's left the Jedi Order and the war behind, however, doesn't mean she's left trouble, too.
Ahsoka seeks a new life, erasing the secrets of her past as best she can. She finds a life amongst a pair of sisters who are also making the best of their circumstances in the underworld of Coruscant.
The official synopsis for the episode reads, "After leaving the Jedi Order, Ahsoka Tano finds herself in the underworld of Coruscant where she befriends aspiring pilot Trace Martez. Enlisted by Trace’s sister Rafa to help build dangerous droids, Ahsoka opts to keep her Jedi past a secret in “Gone With a Trace,” an all-new episode of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" this Friday, March 20th on Disney+."
Knowing Ahsoka, it's unlikely that the secret of her Jedi past will be kept for long, but for the moment, it may be the only thing keeping her safe. Fans are going to get their first look at what life is like for Ahsoka now that the Jedi Order is no longer a part of her life, as well as what life is like on the lower levels of Coruscant. Between dangerous droids, rusty bikes and Ahsoka's need to keep a low profile, it looks like we're going to see Coruscant's seedy underbelly and learn some more about what life is like for the man on the street in the times of a Clone War.
It's already confirmed that Ahsoka won't be able to stay away from the war forever. Trailers for 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 have seen Ahsoka wielding her lightsabers, back in the heat of battle, but how or what gets her there remains to be seen.
The fifth episode of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7 will be available to stream on March 20, on Disney+.
