'Star Wars: The Clone Wars': 'Shorter episode' leaves fans disappointed, but many feel it was 'enjoyable'

Spoiler alert for 'On The Wings of the Keeradak' - Episode 3 of Season 7 of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'

This week's episode of 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' was shorter than usual, clocking in at 18 minutes, a good 6-7 minutes shorter than what fans of the series are used to. While many fans of the show still found the episode enjoyable, others took to Twitter to express their disappointment. 

"A bit of a shortie episode this week but nevertheless was a fun time watching the #CloneWars I love that echo was part of the action and I'm glad hes back. Also echo pointing out that anakin still shows off and right on que does the most coolest bit ever was amazing!" writes one fan on Twitter, expressing enthusiasm for some of the episode's most memorable moments. "

Another viewer sums up their feelings succinctly: "The new Clone Wars episode was too short. But still good." 

Other viewers were more neutral about the episode's quality, with this one writing, "I was surprised that this week's #CloneWars episode was so short. It was a decent action heavy/plot light episode. I'm looking forward to wrapping up this arc next week and then getting on to the return of #AhsokaTano." 

Some fans were definitely upset that the episode was over so quickly, and they let their feelings be known.

"I’m honestly pretty pissed the new Clone Wars episode was only 18 minutes long.. smh," writes this user.

Some viewers noted that the episode length was a lot shorter than the unfinished version of this episode had been, and were disappointed that scenes were cut without anything new replacing them.

"Very disappointed in #CloneWars episode On The Wings of Keeradaks. Tonight’s episode was shorter than the reel and nothing changed except the last dialogue with #CaptainRex and Echo" writes this fan.
