William Shatner, 90, involved in car accident weeks after becoming oldest man in space
'Star Trek' star William Shatner was spotted after getting into a minor car crash in the Studio City area of LA weeks after becoming the oldest man in space.
Shatner seemed unharmed from the collision on Tuesday and was seen waiting on scene for LAPD to arrive. What caused the collision has not been confirmed yet. Shatner did not seem to suffer any injuries from the minor crash.
Early in October, Shatner became the oldest man to have been in space after Jeff Bezos invited him to be a part of his project Blue Origin. The trip to space lasted only 10 minutes and 17 seconds, but in Shatner's description, it 'was an experience of a lifetime'.
Shatner, along with newly minted astronauts Chris Boshuizen, Glen de Vries and Audrey Powers, ventured 351,186 feet above Earth's surface where they spent three minutes in weightlessness.
Videos of Shatner show him in the ship being launched into space, followed by a bit of laughing and giggling. Shatner then seems to be getting used to the feeling of being on a ship in space and floating around. Soon, his crewmates were as surprised as him and expressed awe as they looked down at Earth from the spaceship.

Shatner is widely famous for his role as Captain Kirk in Star Trek that ran from 1966-69.
Shatner, who was in a black Mercedes SUV, got in a collision with a grey Acura that had visible damage on the front bumper and wheel. The actor was with a female companion at the time of the accident, and looked unhurt as he made a series of calls on his iPhone. Shatner was also spotted with his hands in his pockets checking out the damage on the Acura with a grave face. The collision purportedly happened on Ventura Boulevard and LAPD arrived at the scene soon after.
Officers from LAPD have yet to confirm what exactly caused the collision. Shatner seemed physically unharmed after the car crash. His car, however, seemed to be slightly damaged in the front end. Shatner was also seen handing over his details to LAPD after they arrived at the scene of the collision.
