It's no news that the creative bosses at Netflix are busy concocting something "wicked" for fans of Sabrina the Teenage Witch series. While speculations have been running high, a sure shot confirmation on the title of the show comes from executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa himself - and it's sure to appeal the comic nerds.

Taking to Twitter, the showrunner broke the news recently, confirming that the upcoming show will indeed be titled 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'. If you have been keeping a track of the updates, the series title has been taken from the comics, on which the show is based.

"It’s official! “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is our title! Something wicked this way comes…@kiernanshipka #incredible #netflixsabrina," Aguirre-Sacasa, who also serves as a showrunner for Riverdale, the series heavily borrowing from the Archie Comics arc, tweeted.

No sooner had he shared the news on social media, than fans eagerly waiting for the adaptation flooded the posts with curious comments. "Yay. You better not hurt this show like you hurt Riverdale in 2A tho, (sic)" a critic wrote in response.

Someone else shared, "I mean we kinda knew that would be the title for the show, but to be honest I was kinda of hoping the show title would be Greendale."

"I’m praying for a Riverdale and Sabrina cross over episode(s) or at least acknowledgment," added another fan.

Starring Kiernan Shipka (of Mad Men fame) in the titular role, the show has been created in collaboration with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. TV also includes a number of popular faces. As per updates, actress Lucy Davis will play Aunt Hilda, and Miranda Otto stars as Aunt Zelda, alongside a star-studded cast including Ross Lynch, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle and more.

What is yet to be revealed is who plays Salem, the cat.
