Who stars in 'Phenomena' on Netflix? Meet the international cast of Spanish horror-comedy
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has been creating TV shows and movies that are as mind-blowing as they are great. With Netflix, it is now possible to watch movies from around the world and satisfy our inner cinephile. The newest addition to Netflix and to your binge-watching list is 'Phenomena'. Originally called 'Fenómenas' in Spanish, the horror-comedy is set to air on April 14 and will also be the Netflix debut for many of its cast members.
The plot of 'Phenomena' is simple. When the main members of the Hepta group agree to investigate an antique shop, strange things start to take place. In the end, the only thing that will solve the case and end the misery is when the group comes together to complete this investigation. The movie is based on a true story and inspired by the real Hepta Group.

Gracia Olayo
Gracia Olayo was born in 1957 in Madrid, Spain. She is an actress, known for movies like 'Holy Camp!' 'The Last Circus' and 'Mujeres'. The actress has made her Netflix debut, having previously starred in the superhero comedy 'The Neighbor' as Alcadesa, and briefly in the comedy series 'Paquita Salas' as Charo.
Emilio Gutiérrez Caba
With 'Phenomena', Emilio Gutiérrez Caba will make his Netflix debut. The actor has been in the Spanish movie industry for more than 60 years and started his career with the movie 'El Ilanero' in 1963. He is well-known for starring in 'Common Wealth', 'The Vault', and the television series 'Gran Reserva'. He was always passionate about philosophy, so he studied philosophy and began acting while at university. Emilio Gutiérrez Caba has won the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'Common Wealth' and also won the Spanish Actors Guild Awards in the same category.
Toni Acosta
Along with her co-star Emilio Gutierrez Caba, Toni Acosta will also make her Netflix debut with 'Phenomena'. Toni was born in San Cristóbal de la Laguna and started her acting career by taking up roles in television shows, where she played a policewoman in the series 'Policías, en el corazón de la calle'. She is also the winner of Best Supporting Actress for 7 Citas in the 12th edition of the Festival de Málaga. She has also been a finalist in the Premio Mayte de teatro for El invierno bajo la mesa, which loosely translates to 'Mayte Theater Award for El invierno bajo la mesa' in Spanish.
