'Snowdrop': BLACKPINK's Jisoo visits Jung Hae-in on set, JTBC to air last 2 eps back-to-back
Despite the backlash that the JTBC and Disney+ show ‘Snowdrop’ had been getting since its initial broadcast, viewers still engage in all the content that comes out of the controversial K-drama. While the on-screen chemistry between the characters of Young-ro and Su-ho is emotionally draining, fans just can’t get enough of the off-screen chemistry that actors Jisoo and Jung Hae-in share. If the Instagram co-ordinated posts between Blackpink’s Jisoo who plays Young-ro and Jung Hae-in who plays Su-ho were not proof enough, the two actors have grown pretty close.
The show ‘Snowdrop’ was the first place where Jisoo and Hae-in met and behind-the-scenes videos show how the two instantly hit it off and became close friends from as early as the script-reading of the show. Now after almost five long weeks of the show running, JTBC has announced that they will not make fans wait any longer and air the final two episodes of ‘Snowdrop’ back to back on the same day itself.

Jisoo and other members of ‘Snowdrop’ cast visit Jung Hae-in
The chemistry between ‘Snowdrop’ co-stars Jung Hae-in and Kim Jisoo has been extremely loved by fans of the two artists despite the hate surrounding the show. Now that the two actors have revealed their off-screen friendship publicly, fans of the duo are loving the Instagram back and forth between the two ‘besties’. On January 21, Jung Hae-in posted a series of images on his Instagram account revealing that a food truck had been sent to the set location of his new K-drama.
In the first photo of the carousel Hae-in posted, he was seen holding a churro and a tumble or iced coffee, smiling ear-to-ear. In another photo following that, we get a third-person image of Jisoo capturing a visibly happy Jung Hae-in. Hae-in also posted a photo of all of his ‘Snowdrop’ castmates that had contributed to this kind gesture, cheering him up as he filmed a new show.
In his message thanking his castmates, Jung Hae-in emotionally stated how happy he was. He also thanked them all stating that they had given him a lifelong gift and gave him a lot of strength.
JTBC to air two consecutive episodes of ‘Snowdrop’
Now even as the drama is coming to an end, JTBC announced that the final two episodes of Jung Hae-in and Blackpink’s Jisoo starrer ‘Snowdrop’ will air the final two episodes back-to-back. On January 21, a representative from JTBC announced that the airing of the final episode of ‘Snowdrop’ has been pushed ahead by a day and the show will have two consecutive episodes broadcast one after another on January 30.
A lot of suspicions is around the fact that this hastening in the airing of the last episode of ‘Snowdrop’ could be because of the constant backlash the K-drama received from Korean citizens due to its apparent distortion of history. The makers of the show JTBC spoke about taking legal action against those that spread misinformation against the show.
