SM Entertainment is bringing the whole K-pop house in. From the newly debuted Kpop girl group Aespa to fourth generation K-pop superstars NCT Dream, Red Velvet, EXO’s Baekhyun, EXO’s Kai, SHINee’s Taemin, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, SuperM, Super Junior, TVXQ, the star-studded lineup will be a dream team of sorts, Kpop lovers believe.

After SM Entertainment announced a bunch of individual concerts including ‘Beyond Live’ — NCT: Resonance 'Global Wave' and Baekhyun’s solo Beyond Live concert, the entertainment mogul has planned to bring the whole house of K-pop superstars in a virtual concert for fans worldwide.



 

About their ‘Beyond Live’ venture, SM Entertainment said, “Beyond LIVE is the world's first 'Online Customized Paid Concert' presented by SM Entertainment. Optimized for online, it presents diverse stages that combine dynamic performances, stage production with advanced AR technology and real-time 3D graphics, differentiated camera works and interactive communication through live video calls between artists and global fans."

It added, "It is also the first in the world to offer Sync Play service that synchronizes the fanlight with the live stream concert in real-time connecting the online and the offline which provides maximum fan experience to enjoy the concert and cheer on together."



 

‘Beyond Live’ promises to merge the world of new virtual technology with the global audience in order to bring them a one of a kind “era of performance culture that transcends the existing online streamed format of offline concerts".

SMTOWN LIVE 'Culture Humanity' is schedule for January 1, 2021, at 1 pm KST/ 31.12.20, 8 pm PST/ 31.12.20, 11 pm EST.

There have been a lot of talks regarding the Live Concert of the SM family on social media. When the performers' list first surfaced, EXO-SC fans, the EXO sub-group consisting of Chanyeol and Sehun, found find the duo missing from the lineup. ‘EXO-SC’ deserved better trended on social media as fans slammed the entertainment company for not treating their artists fairly.

A fan wrote, "I think you forgot your best and MILLION SELLER subunit EXO-SC,” while another said, “Exo logo in the middle yet you’re ignoring exo-sc the math isn’t mathing.” Another NCT Fan wrote, “We demand an official statement on Taeyong's health condition and a proper statement regarding the constant negligence of his health despite his busy schedule in the last 3 years," referring to the NCT member’s current health condition and the singer not performing in the NCT Beyond live event. Another said, “Give a statement on Taeyong’s Health first and also a statement on Winwin’s placement in 127 because you can’t just wipe him out like that. Where’s 'humanity!'" A Red Velvet fan posted, “I better be seeing Monster/Naughty stage.”
