'Sister Wives': Fans believe Kody's need to constantly relocate is a call for attention, say 'he thrives on it'

The Brown family is always in a hurry to move and it looks like fans have now figured out the reason behind it

Most of the episodes of 'Sister Wives' have revolved around the Brown family trying to find a place that they can call a forever home but unfortunately, even after nine seasons, fans have not gotten a chance to see the house that they have in mind. In the recent season, the Brown family moved to Flagstaff with the hope that they will never have to move again but looking at Kody's actions, things seem to hint that this is not the end of their nomadic life.

Kody hinted that he wanted a house that was big enough for everyone to stay but that idea was soon rejected by all his wives. While viewers thought that Kody's idea about one house would be the final step for their move, they were forced to rethink the same when Kody hinted that he would rather have houses in the plot that could be put up for rent.

While there is no doubt that the family is slowly losing their patience over the move, it seems like the fans have finally put a nail on the reason as to why Kody often thinks about moving around. Some people thought that it is his need for attention that forces him to instill the idea into the family that it is important for them to move.

One fan pointed out in a Reddit thread, "He thrives on attention. I’m doing a rewatch of the move to Vegas and it made me sick the way he told the younger kids about the move. IT WAS ALL ABOUT SHOCK. He started off by gathering everyone up and told them that they are moving."

The statement continued, "After the shock wore off, then he tells them “also, we are moving in 3 days”. More shocked reactions. When that wore off, “oh, yeah. You can’t tell any of your friends”. Um, he could have said that all in one sentence. The reactions kept getting worse and it felt like he was really getting high off of the kid's reaction. It was really eye-opening to watch again after all these years."

Another reason for fans to believe that his move for his personal gains was that Kody complained about having the financial burden but then chose to move into houses that were big and nice and looked expensive. Fans were convinced that the move was not for the gain of the family but his own.

Looking at this, it seems like it won't be a surprise if the Brown family decides to move yet again when it comes out for another season.

'Sister Wives' airs on Sundays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
