'Siesta Key': Kelsey slammed as 'fake' for badmouthing despite Juliette almost hitting Garrett for hurting her

'Don’t forget she slept with Alex. She’s a great friend,' a friend commented

Kelsey Owens and Garrett Miller's showdown at a Christmas party was possibly the highlight of the season. The couple has fought in the past but this was shocking because Juliette Porter joined the fight. She was just trying to save the day, be a good friend. But maybe she should have just stayed out of it.

In the preview clip, we see how she tells Jake Peterson, who is also her ex-boyfriend: "That's Juliette, that's how she is." Although the context is not clear, seconds later, Juliette confronts Kelsey for branding her "selfish." Will this fracture the friendship they share? Time will tell. For now, fans are livid that Kelsey would go behind Juliette's back to badmouth her, leaving no room for respect.

What happened between Kelsey and Garrett?

Kelsey and Garrett had begun dating when the show went for a mid-season break. When 'Siesta Key' returned, the differences between them were evident. They were getting into arguments more often and recently, there have been incidents where both Kelsey and Garrett had to clear their name.

During the Thanksgiving dinner, Jake walked up to Kelsey to have a little chat but Garrett stepped in and said it was about time he stopped approaching his girl because they are in a relationship. And within a week, the equation between Kelsey and Garrett went downhill.

After Kelsey stumbled upon a social media photo of Garrett's client kissing him on the cheeks, she confronted him for sleeping with other women and not telling her the whole truth. Garrett immediately denied having any knowledge of the photo and called it an old one. But she was heartbroken and done with him.

Juliette spotted Kelsey crying and once she learned of the matter, she tried punching Garrett and asked him to leave the scene. He did but while taking the exit shaded Juliette by saying she was the last person who should be giving out relationship advice.
