MTV's 'Siesta Key' is returning after a mid-season break and here's what fans can expect from the show that airs on June 16.
A few months ago, the docuseries left off at Alex Kompthecras learning he's an expectant father. It would have been an interesting story arc had the showrunners let viewers guess the mother's name, but Alyssa Salerno's pregnancy stories were all over the news the moment Alex decided to share a beautiful picture of them revealing the big news on social media.
So, what to expect this season?
Season 3 began with Juliette Porter having moved on from her ex, Alex. She was dating Robby, who quickly became her ex after she realized she had to give up everything she loved and held close to her heart to be with him. Throughout the first half of the season, she made it evident she hadn't moved on from Alex and even hooked up him when the cast members were visiting Nashville to support Brandon Gomes's new gig. In the mid-season sneak peek, we see her stir the pot a little in a desperate attempt to claim what (Alex) she thinks is hers -- will that work, will it not? That will form an interesting arc.
Another highlight would be Madisson Hausberg and Ish Soto's relationship that survived an ex's wrath, parents' disapproval and distance previously. This time, there's hope that maybe the couple is able to tide over all of that and move towards a fresh start.
Kelsey Owens and Garret Miller's love story that reignited during the Nashville trip will see twists and turns. It took a kiss with Jared Kelderman and few dates with boss, Jake Petersen, to realize that her heart lies with Garrett still. Kelsey and Garrett were dating but ended on a bitter note, which is why this reunion is shocking. The two had become vile just days before they split.
Amanda Miller's love life will definitely be thrown into the mix. We saw how she went from Brandon to JJ Miller in no time. Sure, she has had to face the internet trolls for dating these men at once, but she knew what she wanted and that none of them were exclusive.
Clearly, a lot of drama is waiting to unfold at this bay. Let's hope it keeps everyone afloat.
