For many women shopping for a swimsuit can be a very harrowing and daunting experience. From the difficulty in finding the right size that flatters one's body type to the discomfort that comes alongside wearing swimsuits, it would be an understatement to say that many women avoid or put off shopping for swimsuits as much as they can. Although two-piece swimsuits look visually appealing, not all women are comfortable wearing them, and instead prefer a more modest one-piece swimsuit, that covers most of the body.

While a one-piece bodysuit might address body image issues for many women, it, however, brings several other problems with it. One of the biggest issues with one-piece swimsuits is the issue of using the bathroom. One has to either get off the whole outfit to use the bathroom or do the whole uncomfortable tug and pull to use the bathroom with the outfit on. So, Elyce Billany, co-founder of Byoot Company, came up with a really good solution, that is proving to be a hit amongst many of the company's customers and swimsuit enthusiasts.

What is Byoot Company's Swimsuit?

If you thought Byoot Company's swimsuits were just like any other swimsuit brand, then you couldn't be more wrong. While almost all one-piece swimsuits sold in the market do a fantastic job of providing coverage and support while we are enjoying ourselves in the water, unfortunately, they can be a nightmare when it comes to using the bathroom or trying to get a wet swimsuit off the body. Byoot Company's swimsuit addresses these issues, with its unique solution -- adding buttons to the sides of the one-piece, so that the customer can enjoy the perks of a one-piece swimsuit without any of the downsides.

Aside from the creative solution of adding buttons to the sides of the swimsuit near the hips, another thing that sets these swimsuits aside is the comfort that the user experiences while wearing them. Byoot's swimsuits are made of 86% nylon and 14% spandex. They can be stretched in four ways, and are also quick drying. The fabric used for creating these swimsuits can absorb moisture from the skin to the fabric's exterior so that it can evaporate naturally. This leaves the wearer feeling dry without any of the pesky sticky or damp feeling that comes up with the other brands' swimsuits. These swimsuits are available in a huge range of colors, and patterns, aside from being extremely size-inclusive.

Who are the founders?

Elyce and her husband, Nathan Billany are the founders of Byoot Company. Elyce came up with the idea of Byoot Company's swimsuits, while she was vacationing with her husband in Jamaica. Although she realized that she absolutely loved the style and look of one-piece swimsuits, she hated the fact that she was spending more time in the bathroom than in the waters, due to the basic design flaw in most one-piece swimwears, that overlooks the functionality of using the bathroom while wearing the swimsuit.

So, Elyce decided to come up with a solution herself. She soon found an experienced and reputable manufacturer in New York, who helped her make her vision and dreams come to life. "During the process of designing and bringing to life 'the Byoot Suit' I learned SO much! I struggled with many things along my journey, but so far I have been able to use those struggles as a way to make my designs and company even better. My story started with adding buttons to a swimsuit, so buttons to me represent a whole new life that I have embarked on. They are increasingly symbolic to not only going after what I love, but trying to enjoy the ups as well as the downs that life brings," Elyce explained on the brand's website.

What is the cost and where to buy?

Byoot Company's swimsuits retail for between $40 to $80, based on the designs and styles of the swimwear. One can purchase these unique swimsuits on the brand's website here. But if you're still shuddering at the thought of shopping for a swimsuit, then you can request Byoot's free visual fitting service on Zoom. Once an appointment is made, a personal stylist is appointed within 10 minutes to customize the type of swimsuit you prefer.

Where are they now?

After receiving rave reviews for their highly successful one-piece swimsuits, Byoot Company went on to release a range of other products like a face mask that can be tied around your neck instead of behind your ears. In their release announcement post on Instagram, they explained, "I created a mask that ties around your neck to prevent misplacement (or being thrown across the room by my toddler) and to give some ease to a piece that has become all too a part of our wardrobe (at least for now!)." They also recently released a range of bikinis.

Who will crack the deal?

It looks like guest shark Kendra Scott might end up closing the deal with Byoot Company.
