Shakira's 'El Dorado World Tour' documentary and Super Bowl LIV performance is a double treat for fans

Shakira fans can get large doses of their loved Latina pop star in action in the next few days as Shakira's new documentary 'Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour' will debut on the small screen on Friday, January 31 at 8pm ET followed by the Super Bowl Halftime Show slot, lined up for February 2. Additionally, fellow diva superstar Jennifer Lopez will team up and share the stage with Shakira for the highly-anticipated Super Bowl show.
According to Billboard, the Colombian singer's documentary 'Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour' has already screened in more than 2,000 theatres in over 60 countries, and it will give fans of the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer an exclusive chance to watch her most recent tour. It will air on HBO and partners' streaming platforms in the US and Latin America.
Lucinda Martinez, executive vice president, Multicultural & Brand Marketing, WarnerMedia Entertainment gave a comment on the documentary, saying, "We are thrilled and proud to have Shakira as part of our growing list of A-list artists featured on our network". She added, "This concert special will truly resonate with Shakira's global fan base, as it takes behind the scenes of her biggest world tour yet".
'Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour' was released in cinemas for a single night back in November 2019 with encore screenings in select venues. It documents the singer's sixth world tour, the 'El Dorado World Tour', which supported her diamond-certified eleventh studio album, 'El Dorado', and took place between June and November of 2018. It included more than 50 shows in 22 countries. The live soundtrack 'Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour' peaked at No. 18 on the Top Latin Albums chart on November 23, 2019.
