Seoul Festa 2022: Date, where to watch and all about lineup starring PSY, Stray Kids, NCT Dream

The tourism ministry is hosting a cultural festival including K-pop concerts to celebrate Seoul E-Prix, the biggest Asian Formula E World Championship

With the pandemic getting under control, the Seoul tourism ministry has resumed projects to attract visitors to their city with their biggest cultural asset – K-pop. Several music festivals and ensemble concerts have begun once more from KCON and the Waterbomb Festival to the Hiphopplaya Festival and Mud Festival. And the Seoul Festa 2022 will go on for a week in August as we get concerts by K-pop idols, the Formula E World Championship and a grand fair. 

Seoul Festa is a cultural festival that consists of several events like the Seoul Festa 2022 Opening Performance, Seoul E-Prix, World DJ Festival, Seoul Shopping Festival and Korea Grand Sale. For the opening show, organizers have roped in some of the biggest names as well as rising K-pop stars from PSY, Stray Kids and NCT Dream to NMIXX, Le Sserafim and Enhypen. We also have Treasure and Zico performing at the Seoul E-Prix on August 13 and 14 which happens to be the biggest Asian racing event and is being hosted by South Korea for the first time.

Concert date and time

Seoul Festa 2022 opening show will take place on August 10 at 7:30 pm KST (6:30 am ET). The Seoul E-Prix 2022 Racing Concert will take place on August 13 and 14.

Venue

The music festival will take place at Jamsil Sports Stadium.

Where to watch

The opening performance is 120 minutes and will be broadcast on KBS2 and KBS World which is available in 118 countries. Also watch it on KBS Kpop's YouTube channel below.
