'Selling Sunset': Did Christine wreck Davina's sale? Adnan's trust flickers after seeing lack of understanding
The conversation between Luxury homes developer Adnan Sen and real estate broker Davina Potratz made us wince but that was in 'Selling Sunset' Season 2. Since then, Davina has found a way to keep Adnan's steely stare and sharp comments at bay and get down to business, which she tried applying. But, little did she know that her BFF Christine Quinn had set her up for embarrassment.
Adnan's property is listed at $75,000,000. Davina has two more weeks to sell it. The reminders from Adnan have gotten stronger over time and he's not interested in the "excuses" any longer. He wants to trust Davina and her potential to make it sell but Christine has put her on a tough spot. Christine has a Rolodex filled with contacts and has been trying to use it to assist Davina in selling the property. While at it, Christine conveniently forgot she had to inform Davina about a showing at the said property. This put Davina in a fix and she was not able to give Adnan a straight answer when he questioned her for not being aligned with her own teammate.
Is Christine trying to sabotage Davina's sale? Maybe or maybe not. In her defense, she was trying to help by getting Christian (potential buyer with some great contacts) on board and she had a very short window during which she could get him to see the property. But Davina explicitly told Christine she cannot let such a slip-up happen again.
Christine and Davina have been best of friends since Season 2. They are vocal about their thoughts and opinions, which is what makes them such good friends. So, could this be just a hiccup or will they be able to come back from their disagreement? At the moment, it looks tough especially after how Christine backed out from helping Davina any longer because she feels "underappreciated". And now Davina has to ask Adnan for an extension because no one at the Oppenheim Group can afford to lose $1 million in commission.
