Did 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' star Sebastian Stan just hint at another Avengers movie?
Sebastian Stan has been an integral part of the MCU as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. He will next be seen in the Disney+ miniseries, 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' alongside Anthony Mackie who reprises his role as Sam Wilson/The Falcon. Both actors were part of the massive 'Avengers: Endgame.'
This bit of news is sure to keep fans intrigued. Stan spoke to Variety on Instagram live on the next big team-up MCU flick and his response has had fans speculating if the Avengers will be assembling again. "Oh I know nothing,” he began. “You know I know nothing about that. You know, I’m just…I’m just a man," he said.
"No, I’m trying to…We’ve got to figure out a couple of other missions first before we even get there. I gotta deal with this other person that I have to deal with. It’s been nice to have a break from him. Anthony Mackie... it’s just been nice to have a little bit of quiet in this quarantine without him. But, we got to figure out some adventures together first before we get there."
Earlier, we had speculated about how the MCU will revamp the model and do a "clean-slate" protocol if they intend to introduce/re-introduce a new breed of superheroes. Quite simply, Phase 4 will see a new breed of superheroes, perhaps even stronger than the ones we all loved and related to. But for them to take center stage, we need to move on from the old bunch. It's hard, it is almost impossible but only practical and reasonable.
The next Avengers, who haven't really formed yet could be quite formidable too. We still have the Black Panther around, Captain Marvel is out there and so are the Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Wanda Maximoff's Scarlet Witch is still a force to reckon with and so are the Guardians. Does that mean we'll see the new Avengers work with the new heroes who will make an entry?
Stan's tease is the closest when it comes to contemplating if there is a new Avengers film somewhere down the pipeline. But it will be a long wait, that's for sure.
