'Save My Skin': Callum jokes he has learned to play with his 'grape-sized' lipomas as he meets Dr Emma for help
Callum has been struggling with small lumps all over his body for a long time and it has reached a point where they are increasing in number every time. Callum revealed he first noticed these lumps on his hands and at first, they were like pea or grape-sized. However, the texture of each lump is different.
He revealed that some of them were soft while others were hard to touch or move. Callum added that he first started noticing the lumps on his hand when he was 15. However, over the years, they started appearing on his stomach and even legs.
Callum decided to meet Dr Emma Craythorne hoping that she will be able to help him. Dr Emma was surprised to find that Callum had so many lumps on his body. When she first examined them, she realized that some of them moved while the others were hard. Callum joked that he played with the ones that could be moved.
He even offered one of the nurses to take his lumps home while adding that it will keep one entertained. As all of them laughed, Callum confessed that the number of his lumps was concerning. Dr Emma noticed that his legs were filled with lumps but she calmed him down by informing him that they were benign in nature.
She estimated that he might have around 30 lipomas on his body. Callum stated that he wanted to get rid of the ones that were evident and hard to ignore. Dr Emma agreed that it would be best to treat them first as they were the ones that were more noticeable.
She then got Callum ready for the surgery and tried to remove the ones that would not pose a problem. She was surprised to find out that the lumps came out easily as soon as she pressed them. She slowly started taking the lumps out and before Callum even knew it, most of his lipomas were out of his body.
Callum was surprised to see how they looked but was happy that he had finally gotten rid of most of them and looked forward to going back to his normal life.
