If you are an avid follower of the truTV prank comedy show ‘Impractical Jokers’, you must be aware of Sal Vulcano. He's one of the four members with the most punishments, with a record of 68 punishments in eight seasons.
A little known fact about Vulcano is that he is an ordained minister of the church. In fact, he even officiated the wedding of Joe Gatto, his friend and founding member of their comedy troupe 'The Tenderloins'. Joe Gatto married his wife Bessy Gatto in a beautiful ceremony in 2013.
In addition, Vulcano has also officiated the wedding of two fans of ‘Impractical Jokers’ on an episode of ‘Impractical Jokers: After Party’.
Who is Sal Vulcano?
Salvatore Edward Anthony Vulcano was born on November 6, 1976, in Staten Island, New York, to Sal Vulcano Sr and Dianne Fernandez-Vulcano. He is of Italian, Cuban, and Puerto-Rican descent. Interestingly, like Vulcano, all the other members of 'The Tenderloins' and ‘Impractical Jokers’ hail from Staten Island.
His parents divorced when he was young. Vulcano grew up with his three sisters — Kelly Ann, Diana and Jenna. His youngest sister Jenna Vulcano made guest appearances in three episodes of ‘Impractical Jokers’ in 2014. The punishment he had to take in that episode was watch his co-star and friend, James Murray, marry his sister Jenna. The marriage was annulled soon afterward.
