Safaree buys expensive gifts for new GF Amara's twins after failing to pay child support to ex Erica
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'Love & Hip Hop' star Safaree Samuels recently showered his love with luxurious gifts on his rumored girlfriend Amara La Negra's twins. Safaree was the chief guest at Amara's children's birthday party. She shares the twins with her on-and-off partner Allan Mueses.
However, Erica Mena, who tied the knot with the rapper in New Jersey in October 2019, called out Safaree after he gifted expensive watches to the twins while failing to make child support payments for his own children. Erica and Safaree share a daughter Safire Majesty Samuels, whom they welcomed in February 2020, and a son named Legend, who was born on June 28 in 2021.

Safaree recently attended his rumored girlfriend Amara's daughters' — Sumajestad Royalty and Sualteza Empress — first birthday party. A video is circulating on social media which shows the 'Love & Hip Hop' dancing. Further in the video, Safaree and Amara get cozy and start kissing. The rapper can also be seen handing out two boxes of Rolex watches for Amara's twins. Several attendees of the party shared videos on their Instagram Stories which clearly showed Safaree gifting Amara's twins the expensive watches.
However, Safaree explained his gesture during the party and said, "I'm doing this because I'm new to Miami and you know ever since I’ve been here, Amara has been a great everything; friend, tour guide, helping me with my Spanish. She’s just been a great business partner." Notably, Safaree and Amara are filming scenes for the upcoming season of 'Love & Hip Hop Miami'. Their romance will be the center of attraction in the new season of the VH1 show.
Erica Mena calls her ex Safaree 'deadbeat clown'
Safaree's explanation for buying the luxurious gifts wasn't enough for Erica. The reality star took to her social media and took a dig at her ex-husband. Erica accused Safaree of being unoriginal for dating women in the same industry as her in a now-deleted Instagram post. She even called him out for cheating during their marriage. Erica wrote, "Awe so cute. It's just very interesting how my kids have NEVER received gifts like this by this waste man." The reality star further added, "My daughter just turned 3. All she got was a birthday cake and a few balloons in his living room. and please don't get me started on how he didn't do anything for my son's 1st birthday until two weeks after the fact. And again, that was just balloons in his living room. But Happy every enjoyed this circus theme birthday party with a deadbeat clown as the special guest.”
How much does Safaree have to pay for child support?
Erica filed for divorce from Safaree in May 2021 and finalized the proceedings in 2022. The reality star insisted in the paperwork that she had "no hope of reconciliation" with the 'Liar' spitter because their marriage was "irretrievably broken." However, soon after Erica and Safaree's messier divorce, Safaree was ordered to pay Erica Mena $ 4,305 in child support. Erica was not happy with the amount of financial support given Safaree's substantial income and claimed that her ex-husband show little interest in their children. Erica even criticized Safaree for failing to fulfill his financial responsibility towards their children. In a previous social media rant, Erica noted, "Let him know he has medical bills that's only 8k from last year he owes along with... never mind just tell him he got it. Pay it."
