Erica blames Safaree for hellish pregnancy, 'LHHATL' fans ask 'what did she expect'

'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta', fans couldn't help but blame Erica Mena for marrying Safaree and getting stuck in a bad marriage

After watching Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels' rocky relationship on 'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta', fans couldn't help but blame her for marrying Safaree and getting stuck in a bad marriage. Safaree pursued Erica and got married to her when he found out that she was pregnant. Things were going pretty smoothly between the newlyweds until their first child was born.

As soon as their daughter was born, Safaree began questioning his decision to get married as he found his new role of a father pretty challenging. The rapper continuously complained about how he never expected parenting to be so tough and blamed everyone around him for not warning him about it. Erica tried her best to make the marriage work by taking on the responsibility of parenting their newborn and trying to keep the peace between Safaree and her. But Safaree kept making things difficult by leaving her and their newborn for days and going out partying and not returning home for days. Erica was so focused on trying to make her marriage work that she didn't even realize that she was pregnant with their second child.

Erica was hoping for things between Safaree and her to get better as she was expecting their second child, instead, things got even more strained between the couple. Safaree pretty much abandoned his wife and their newborn child while she was pregnant. All this put undue stress on Erica, which ended up putting her health and her unborn child's health at risk.

Erica had to go to the hospital as she began going into labor prematurely. The doctors put her under observation to try to delay her from going into labor so that the baby wouldn't be born prematurely. Erica began blaming Safaree for making her pregnancy a hellish experience and going out of his way to stress her out. While fans did feel sorry for Erica's situation they couldn't help but blame her for putting herself in that situation by marrying Safaree, a man with poor track record when it comes to relationships.

A fan tweeted, "Well Erica, u cnt say u didn't kno Safaree wuz trash... #LHHATL." Another fan wrote, "Literally I feel not an ounce of bad for Erica as far as her marriage to Safaree. She knew he was trash & a clown. She’s a clown. She also didn’t value marriage when she was the mistress to married a** men. Sooooo…#LHHATL #LHHA." "Erica is crazy too. Safaree is a waste of time. What did she expect to happen? #LHHATL #VH1," wondered a fan.

Fans also slammed Erica and Safaree for 'exploiting' their children for fame and storyline. A fan shared, "Erica -safaree = clown = People do anything for fame I would never exploit my kids for a check or just let them edit it like that at all what so ever ain’t enough bag in the world it’s other ways birds #LHHATL." "I’m disappointed Erica & Safaree really got married for TV & storyline purposes because innocent babies were brought into it. Little kids’ lives plastered across The Shade Room & every other blog. I don’t think they realize the choices they make will affect them. #LHHATL #LHHA," seconded a fan. Another fan added, "What the f*** did Erica see in Safaree that made her wanna lie down and have kids with him? #LHHATL."
