'RuPaul's Drag Race' premiered on Friday night with Nicki Minaj as the first guest judge of Season 12 and fans want her to return as a permanent judge.

The first set of queens sashayed into the workroom ready for the drama and to battle it out against each other to come out on top and win the title of America's Next Drag Superstar, $100,000, a crown, and a year-long supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics.

With an overall of 13 contestants appearing this season, RuPaul Charles revealed that we will be having two premieres. The first set of contestants we were introduced to during the first premiere were — Brita, Gigi Goode, Nicky Doll, Heidi N Closet, Widow Von'Du, Jackie Cox, and Crystal Methyd.

The girls were given two tasks, a mini task where they had to walk the runway in spring and fall looks. The major challenge this week was for them to perform a rap as an introduction to their rap persona based on a new song titled, 'I'm That B*tch'.

If that wasn't enough to make the queen nervous, RuPaul revealed that the guest judge this week was none other than award-winning rapper Nicki Minaj. Having Nicki Minaj as the guest judges for the first episode this season has fans affirming that she needs to be made a permanent one on the Emmy-Award winning series.

Starting from her hilarious entrance when she assumed she was taking over RuPaul's hosting duties, Nicki won the hearts of fans. Especially the respect she had for the queens has fans calling her the best guest judge to appear on the show so far, wanting her to become a permanent one on the series.

Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "I CANT at Nicki Minaj being the best guest judge of all time #DragRace." Adding to that another said, "NICKI IS AN AMAZING JUDGE SHES REALLY GIVING GREAT CRITIQUES #DragRace."

"Can Nicki be a permanent judge!! I miss seeing my sis on tv #DragRace," a fan shared. While another wrote, "Can we just get Nicki Minaj as a permanent judge? #DragRace."

"Nicki is actually a really good guest judge #DragRace," a fan shared. Another added saying, "Loved her as judge she is such an inspiration to people coming up from nothing and being different. Heidi is beautiful and Nicki made sure to reassure her. Her critiques were fair and understood by the others. What's her @ ? . I would really like to send some love."

"SHE  DID  THAT Nicki Minaj was one of the best judges ever!!!! period #QUEEN #DragRace," a fan shared.
