Could Friday nights premiere of 'RuPaul Drag Race' Season 12 be the best one yet? Fans sure think so.

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 12 premiered on Friday night with RuPaul Charles, Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley returning to their panel as the judges. Unlike every premiere where we are introduced to all the queens at once, Season 12 took a different turn this time, and split the premieres into two.

The first seven set of queens sashayed into the workroom ready to bring their best foot forward and battle it out to come on top and win the titled of America's Next Drag Superstar, $100,000, a crown, and a year-long supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics.

The first set of contestants we were introduced to during the first premiere were, Brita, Gigi Goode, Nicky Doll, Heidi N Closet, Widow Von'Du, Jackie Cox, and Crystal Methyd. Just like every other season, the queens were given two tasks.

For their first task, the queens were asked to walk the runway with their best spring/fall looks. For their second big task, the queens were asked to perform a rap as an introduction to their drag person to a new song titled 'I'm That Bitch'. The guest judge for the big task was none other than rapper, Nicki Minaj who won the hearts of fans and viewers right from the second she walked into the room.

While there was no elimination on Friday night, Widow and Gigi had to lipsync to Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' for a chance to win $5,000. While Gigi went for a more comical dance style for her lipsync, Widow went all out right from the start by ripping her outfit to showcase a celestial two-piece that left fans in awe. It was a powerful and epic battle that resulted in Widow emerging as the winner.

Though there wasn't as much drama as we expected, it was overall a very much entertaining premiere that left us eagerly waiting to see what the rest of the season holds for us. Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans affirm that this was by far the best premiere ever.

"The season 12 premiere of #DragRace was everything I thought it would be & more. There were some awesome quotes given 2nite but @TheWidowVonDu gave my faves. “B***h better have my sprockets!” and my ultimate .... “4 A’s, 8 O’s, & 3 L’s,” & @WorldOfWonder spelled it out!!!" a fan wrote. Adding to that another said, "@RuPaulsDragRace I’m just going to say it...maybe the best premiere episode ever! #DragRace."

"Well #DragRace premiere was EVERYTHING. We are ready for next Friday sis," a fan wrote. While another added, "The season premiere of #DragRace was amazing! This cast is amazingly talented!!"

"that might have been my FAVORITE #DragRace premiere ever?? Like it was stunning??," a fan shared. Another added saying, "The split premiere really works for @RuPaulsDragRace especially when it's a strong cast like this. Can't wait to see what's to come this season #dragrace."
