LONDON, UK: With each passing minute, it seems the controversies surrounding the docuseries on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lives are getting bigger. Netflix’s ‘Harry & Meghan’ apparently declared that members of the royal family showed no interest in commenting or participating in it. The first episode of the series began with the message, “Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series.”

However, royal insiders have reportedly denied these claims. As per The Daily Mail, “Royal officials in London insisted they were never asked to comment at all. The source was clear that neither Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace nor any member of the family were approached for comment on the content of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix series.”

It has also been revealed that for now, neither King Charles nor Prince William will respond to the show despite the Duke of Sussex accusing other male members of the family of intentionally marrying “someone who would fit the mold”. He reportedly said in the docuseries, “I think for so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mold as opposed to somebody who you perhaps are destined to be with. The difference between making decisions with your head, or your heart. And my mum certainly made most of her decisions - if not all of them - from her heart. And I am my mother's son.”

The 38-year-old also brought up racial biases in his family as he shared, “In this family sometimes you're part of the problem rather than part of the solution. And there is a huge level of unconscious bias. The thing with unconscious bias is [it's] actually no one's fault.” The former actress mentioned, “Obviously now everyone is aware of my race because they made it such an issue when I went to the UK. Before then, I wasn't really treated like a black woman.”

Besides royal sources, many on the internet also felt that the Sussexes were making false allegations through the new show. Journalist Sophie Corcoran tweeted, “Dear Meghan markle, You are a duchess, you are a millionaire, you are insanely privileged. You are not oppressed. You live a much better life than the brits you trash and who you claim opresss you. Get over yourself, Sincerely, Britain.” “In this country there are people literally freezing to death on the streets . Then we have Harry and Meghan , two of the wealthiest people in the world , moaning about how badly they have been treated . We see you both for what you are . #harryandmeghanNetflix,” another tweet read.

Someone else shared, “Now that Harry and Meghan series has started I will only say: Thank god there is a hyerarchy!! Future King and Queen stay with dignity and getting stronger together #PrincessofWales #HarryisaTraitor.” Someone else added, “1. This whole this is one big reel of Jealously and Envy. Harry is dangerously jealous of William and Meghan is blinded by her envy of Catherine. At one point, they try to sow doubts into their marriage with the 'formality' thing. But my dear, you can't fake stability for 20 yrs!”
