Who is Page Turner? Judging 'Rock the Block' to working with an ex, 'Flip or Flop Nashville' star is top act

After last week's episode, 'Rock the Kitchen', where Alison Victoria and Mike Holmes came out on top for their stunningly unique kitchen, this week, the teams tackle a whole new challenge — the living area, foyer, front room and powder room.

Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt

Living spaces budget: $28,000

The Kleinschmidts' strategy going into this challenge is the same as the one before — how to get the biggest appraisal value. Seeing that Mika knows the real estate business like the back of her hand, her solution to getting a high appraisal value is to convert the foyer into a study.

The pair take it up a notch by adding a closet — which instantly qualifies the space to be a bedroom too. With the powder room acting as a bathroom, the couple get to work on the rest of the front area. To save money, they retain the staircase and spruce it up with a bit of paint. The couple also ditched the faux beam option — a design element that a lot of other teams went with.

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent

Living spaces budget: $46,000

Berkus and Brent went with an elegant look and feel overall, seeing that they wanted to create a glass atrium look. With faux beams and a fireplace, the pair focused on having a lot of natural light in the living room area.

They even paid extreme attention to detail in the powder room by adding a stone Turkish basin, giving the powder room a tone of personality.

Alison Victoria and Mike Holmes

Living spaces budget: $40,000

Holmes and Victoria flipped their entire living room area by turning the foyer into a stunning bourbon room, complete with a library.

With a simple powder room, they put all their energy into converting the living room area, by adding beams and accents that tied into the kitchen as well to tie both the rooms together. One of the key features was the black wrought iron spindles added to the staircase.

David Bromstad and Tiffany Brooks

Living spaces budget: $45,000

As always, the team unafraid to take risks, Bromstad and Brooks filled the entire living area inside out. From bold wallpaper and a black wall right when you enter to an entire mother-in-law suit completely with a bathroom, the team added a full extra bedroom to the home, which could also work as a home office.

When it came to the living room, the pair divided up the space to add a mudroom and a reading nook, to make the most of their space.

With 'Flip or Flop Nashville' host Page Turner stepping into the judge's role this episode, picking out a winner was far from easy. She paid close attention to detail throughout her judging process, picking up on various elements that help put together the bigger picture.

With this week's price being bumped up to an additional $2,000 dollars to the budget, David Bromstad and Tiffany Brooks bagged the living room win.

Catch Season 2 of 'Rock The Block' on Mondays at 9 pm ET/PT on HGTV and you can stream the same on Discovery+.
