Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2021 Full Nominations List: From Jay Z, Carole King, Dave Grohl to Tina Turner, here are all the favorites

The list of inductees will be announced in May and the ceremony will take place in Cleveland, Ohio in Fall, 2021

Rock Hall of Fame 2021 has released the nomination list of this year’s inductees and the iconic lineup of nomination can be called ‘Simply the Best’. Yes, Tina Turner is among the names of the much-coveted nominees along with Jay Z, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, Tina Turner, Rage Against the Machine, The Go-Go's, Chaka Khan, Fela Kuti, and more. Here’s the complete list of nominees for Rock Hall of Fame 2021.

The eligibility of this year’s ballot is that the singer has to have their first commercial recording released at least 25 years ago. The list of inductees will be announced in May and the ceremony will take place in Cleveland, Ohio in Fall, 2021.

The nomination list reveals some iconic artists who are nominated for the prestigious honor for the first time including Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, JAY-Z, Mary J. Blige, Fela Kuti, and Dionne Warwick. If elected, artistes Carole Kinh and Tina Turner will be named the second and third female artists inducted twice, following Stevie Nicks’ 2019 election. If Foo Fighters get inducted, member Dave Grohl will also become a twice-inducted performer.

John Sykes, Chairman, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation said, “This remarkable ballot reflects the diversity and depth of the artists and music the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame celebrates,” and added, “These Nominees have left an indelible impact on the sonic landscape of the world and influenced countless artists that have followed them.”

Fans can also participate in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction process by voting for their favorite artist. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame site says, “Through April 30, fans can vote every day at rockhall.com, or at the Museum in Cleveland. The top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to select the 2021 Inductees.”
