Is Rihanna dropping new music? Singer teases 'just 1' song as fan asks her to celebrate 'Anti' with new track
It looks like Rihanna fans are going to be treated to new music soon if we're taking into account a recent online exchange with a fan.
Rihanna took to her social media today (March 24) to show her gratitude for all her fans and those who have been a part of making her 'Anti' era happen. 'Anti' is the eighth studio album by the Barbadian singer. While also showing her support for Women's History Month, Rihanna wrote on Twitter, "grateful to the most High for putting die hard supporters in my circle #Anti #WomensHistoryMonth congrats to everyone that contributed to this era, thank you team."

Several Twitter channels, such as Pop Crave, FentyStats.com, Rihanna News, and more, then revealed their exchange with screenshots that show that Rihanna confirmed new music is on the way. For Rihanna music lovers, even the notion of "just 1" song is enough to get fans going wild in excitement. The last time that Rihanna dropped a single was back in 2016 with the release of her single 'Sledgehammer'. The only two songs that followed in the years since then were collaborations: 2017's 'Lemon' with N.E.R.D. 'Believe It' with PartyNextDoor. In 2017, Rihanna also appeared in a handful of songs as a featured artist: the Future song 'Selfish', the DJ Khaled track 'Wild Thoughts' with Bryson Tiller, and Kendrick Lamar's 'Loyalty'
When it comes to her albums, 'Anti' is her latest and it released in 2016. However, Rihanna, a singer turned fashion and beauty mogul, has been busy over the past couple of years with her Savage x Fenty lingerie line and beauty brand Fenty Beauty. She also has a long history as a humanitarian. She has worked with the Global Partnership for Education and has supported an extensive list of charities.
She is also the founder of the Believe Foundation, which she started after her grandmother's passing due to cancer. "Our mission is to impact as many lives as possible, but it starts with just one," she said during her Harvard Humanitarian of the Year award acceptance speech. "You don’t have to be rich to be a humanitarian. You don’t have to be rich to help someone, you don’t have to be famous, you don’t even have to be college educated."
