Richard Gere, 72, and wife Alejandra Silva, 39, turn heads at red carpet of charity gala
MARBELLA, SPAIN: Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva turned heads as they attended the 2022 Starlite Porcelanosa gala in Marbella, Spain on Sunday, August 14. The gala is a fundraising platform created by popular Spanish entrepreneur Sandra García-Sanjuán and supported by Antonio Banderas to garner funds for select charities.
The 72-year-old actor looked dapper as he was accompanied by his partner, 39, on the red carpet. Richard wore a suave black suit jacket and trousers coupled with a crisp white shirt and bow tie. Alejandra, meanwhile, looked resplendent in an eye-catching bright yellow gown with a white floral pattern. She carried her personal belongings in a chic gold-and-pink handbag and accessorized with a pair of dramatic earrings. The Spanish publicist styled her blonde hair in lavish curls and opted for radiant glam makeup for the event.

Richard and Alejandra were spotted posing for a number of photos on the red carpet in the lead-up to the event.
The happy couple recently enjoyed some quality family time together in Ibiza with their two sons. They spent most of their days relaxing at the beach while soaking up the sun with their children. Richard and Alejandra have been married for just over four years, but they originally had a long-distance romance as they had to split their time between the US and Spain. They have since moved to New York. It's worth noting that the couple also has children from past relationships. Richard and his second ex-wife Carey Cowell have a 22-year-old son, Homer, while Alejandra -- daughter of Ignacio Silva, former vice president of Real Madrid Football Club -- co-parents her nine-year-old son Albert with her first husband Govind Friedland.
Richard appears to have pulled back from his Hollywood workload. His last screen appearance came in the BBC Studios series 'MotherFatherSon', which premiered in March 2019. And his latest film role came in 'The Dinner', which came out in February 2017, and the drama 'Three Christs' which was released later that same year in September. Gere has appeared in many iconic Hollywood productions including 'The Jackal' (1997) and 'Pretty Woman'.

Richard and Alejandra were joined at the star-studded event by Antonio Banderas and his girlfriend Nicole Kimpel, who looked flawless in a dazzling navy dress.
Antonio wore a white blazer and black bow tie as he was also snapped with Argentinian model Carla Pereyra. The actor was also joined by journalist Maria Casado, who looked gorgeous in a plunging black gown. Among other stars at the gala were Andrea Bocelli and his wife Veronica Berti, looking glamorous as ever.
The acclaimed singer looked sharp in a black suit and bow tie, while his wife flaunted her toned legs in a black dress with a thigh-high slit.
