New housewife Leah McSweeney has been very open about her addiction issues in the past. In previous episodes, we saw how Leah's relationship to her mother got estranged after she resumed drinking. When Leah was struggling to deal with her mother's disappointment in her after she began consuming alcohol, Ramona Singer stepped in to help out Leah. Ramona exposed her rare maternal side towards Leah and advised her on how to make amends with her mother.

So, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Ramona genuinely cares about Leah. In the upcoming episode of 'Real Housewives of New York', we will see the housewives making their way to Newport for a short getaway trip. Since no housewives' trip is complete without a generous dose of drama, we get to see loads of drama during the vacation in the sneak peek clip. We see Ramona, Dorinda, and Leah sipping on a drink. Dorinda and Leah complain that the drink tastes like water and asks Ramona what they were drinking. Ramona then explains that their drink is a cocktail with one shot of vodka and club soda.

A disappointed Leah gets up and walks towards the bar counter to ask the bartender to add at least two more shots of vodka into her drink. Ramona gets upset and tries to stop Leah, when the new housewife snaps saying she is on a vacation and can do whatever she pleases. Upon hearing Leah's response, Ramona mutters that she was just watching out for Leah since she is a 'recovering alcoholic'. Dorinda can be seen wondering why Ramona is so invested in Leah and monitoring her alcohol intake,

We later see, Leah behaving wildly after getting drunk. She begins picking on the housewives and talking inappropriately. While all the housewives looked unhappy with Leah's behavior, only Dorinda seemed amused with the new housewife's wild behavior. This doesn't come as a surprise, considering Dorinda also thinks that Leah isn't battling alcohol addiction.

The clip also features Ramona confronting Leah for her behavior after she got drunk. Leah just brushes it away saying that's how she is. When Ramona continues pressing Leah about how wild she gets when drunk, Leah tries to shut down Ramona by saying that maybe Ramona has a problem with her and doesn't like her. The OG housewife looked genuinely surprised with Leah's response and slowly agrees that she doesn't like Leah's behavior. We can't wait to see how the drama unfolds between the OG housewife and new housewife.

‘Real Housewives of New York’ Season 12 airs every Thursday at 9/8c only on Bravo.
